I really enjoyed your display at the garden show yesterday.  I am interested in all things small.  I did love your accessories as much as the dwarf plants that you sell.

South Mini Garden

experimental garden
An experimental garden out front of the house ~ it's an experiment because I wasn't sure if the plants and accessories would be toyed with since it is out by the sidewalk. I've let the plants do their thing with minimal pruning or dividing. I also enjoyed pulling the colors from the landscape into the mini garden. For example, there is a smaller barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'Helmond Pillar') just to the left of the wee pine - that red is consistent with the Lysimachia ciliata 'Purpurea' behind and to the left, a larger barberry infront of some purple Flax further back in the bed, and the red of the Japanese Maple to the right of the garden. The pinks, chartreuse greens and purple lavendar just adds more eye candy to the color feast...

Life is a garden.

Just because it has always been there,
if you don't like it, or if it's not good for your garden anymore,
does not mean you have to tolerate it.

You are the owner of the shears,
the chain saw and the seed packs.

Grow what you want. Grow your own world.
